K0PIR Field Day Operation
Greetings all! I will be operating during Field Day 2020 with my own callsign. The location will be in the Badlands of South Dakota, hopefully in a dispersed camping area near Wall, SD. Follow my progress on Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
Portable Ham Shack
This camper has been real enjoyable and the best part about it is the radio and antenna, Hi Hi.
The antenna is a Hi-Q-5/80 mounted on the rear and the radio is the Icom 7300. I am able to operate any mode from this portable Ham shack. See my post Operating Portable With The Icom 7300 and Hi-Q Mobile Antenna.
This year will be 100% solar power, lord willing. I have a generator for backup power. If you have any questions, comments or solutions, please comment below. I prefer the comment section here or in YouTube because your comments and questions will help others as well.

Made it to Badlands Overlook and found a good spot. Free dispersed camping. Great spot on the bluff overlooking Badlands National Park. Getting ready for Field Day. GL and 73!
