Below are the general steps:

1. Requirements: - Verify that your computer meets the minimum system requirements for HRD. - Ensure you have your radio properly connected to your computer via an appropriate interface.

2. Installation: - Download the latest version of HRD from the official website. - Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process. - Once installed, launch the HRD software.

3. Setup: - Upon launching HRD for the first time, you will be prompted regarding the license. I have a video here if you are having trouble. Fill in the necessary details. - Next, you'll need to select your radio model from the list of supported radios. If your specific radio is not listed, select "Generic" or "Unknown". - Enter the required details, including connection type (e.g., USB, serial, etc.), and communication settings. - Once the radio configuration is added, click "Connect" to establish a connection between HRD and your radio.

4. Configuring HRD: - Explore the various tabs and settings in HRD to configure the software according to your preferences. You can customize the interface, set up macros, adjust audio settings, configure logging preferences, etc. - Additionally, you can set up various digital modes, such as RTTY, PSK31, FT8, etc., if desired. Refer to HRD's documentation or online resources for detailed instructions on configuring specific digital modes. See the video below.
